The other day we stopped at The Wave located in the Contemporary Resort for a late lunch. We started out with the Seasonal Florida Peach Salad. It was very, very good. Lots of pecans, dried cranberries and goat cheese, along with a light warm bacon vinaigrette dressing. I ordered the Maine Lobster Roll that was served with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes. Ive never had a lobster roll before and although it was not bad , I would not order it again. Just not my cup of tea. The potatoes were very good, crunchy on the outside and nice and moist on the inside. Ron has the Todays Sustainable Fish. It was Salmon that was sitting in a butter based Edamame Stew. The salmon melted in your mouth. We finished with one of their trio deserts. It was Key Lime Cheesecake, a Brownie topped with ice cream and carmel sauce and a Berry Cobbler with ice cream. As you can tell we really didnt like the desert much. We would go back in a heartbeat for the salad and salmon. We like The Wave as it doesnt serve the typical Disney menu. The atmosphere is quite relaxed. We never felt rushed. If you are looking for something different, give The Wave a try. ~Kathy
