The presence of the Lord change me Ezekiel 46:9 “But when the people of the land come before the Lord on the appointed feast days, whoever enters by way of the north gate to worship shall go out by way of the south gate; and whoever enters by way of the south gate shall go out by way of the north gate. He shall not return by way of the gate through which he came, but shall go out through the opposite gate. 10 The prince shall then be in their midst. When they go in, he shall go in; and when they go out, he shall go out. The verse above is extracted from the vision of Ezekiel read from Ezekiel chapter 41 to 48. The Lord showed Ezekiel how he wanted his house to be built, where His glory seats. How should the offerings be dealt with and how should the priest wear, work and behave. Now, the congregation was instructed to enter the house of the Lord from one direction and get out on the opposite direction. This leads me to say when you get in the presence of God you will never come out the same. You will be a changed person. You will be different from where you started. This also says to me that you will not go back to the things you were doing. You will look forward to new things that God changed you to and to be. You will think differently. You will deal with anger, pain, troubles, arrogance, wickedness differently. Your negative will turn to positive. The people you hate, you will learn to love and accept. The opinions of other people will affect you positively. You will be able to differentiate right from wrong. The joy of the Lord will fill your heart. You experience the Lord of God in a different way. You will understand the ways of the Lord differently. Your question will change. You will cast your burdens to Jesus with faith. You will grow spiritually from little to faith Jesus wants you to have. In that the Lord’s glory sat in the holy of holies cleansed by the blood of the lamb, but now He dwells in holy of holies that is washed by the blood of Jesus. When you enter his holy place where the glory of God is found you be washed clean. How do you enter the holy of holies? It is clear that this question is often asked. The word of says Jesus went to the Father and left us with the Holy Spirit and where there is the spirit of God there is freedom. Now, to answer the question, we enter the holy of holies by accepting Christ Jesus. When the priest entered the holy of holies he had to be pure without sin otherwise he would not come back. This, now means to us when we accept Christ as our Lord and savior we have to be without sin forever. Entering the holy of holies via Christ Jesus clears us from sin. When we believe in our heart that Jesus is Lord and confess with our mouths that God raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, that is the time for sin forgiven. Thereafter we ought to live a holy life. We can therefore get of the holy of holies with holiness and live our lives in the world, but we will be different from the world for we now do not belong to it. We can continue with our daily activities doing and seeing things by the eye of God not our own for the Spirit of God among us with guide us. The presence of the Lord change me, this I say in the presence tense for it ought to be continuously.
