The proposed strategic roadmap will exactly reverse the priority of BIR. The approach right now is highly subjective and tactical in nature. Once Commissioner Henares steps down, everything will go back to business as usual. BIR needs to focus on taxpayer satisfaction by making it easy and convenient for them so they will be encouraged to increase their voluntary compliance. The key here is to broaden the taxpayer base so as not to burden those who are already complying. #HonestlySpeaking
