The recurring theme of the day is embracing Darkness. Genesis - TopicsExpress

The recurring theme of the day is embracing Darkness. Genesis 2:15-17 (NIV) states (comments in parenthesis are my thoughts/interpretations): 15 The Lord (the Most High) God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord (the same Most High--because the word Lord is used interchangeably throughout the Bible and is talking about different Lords. Some are Kings, some are God) God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree (not an actual tree--but a metaphor for life, as trees are a good way of representing it) of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” To eat is to ingest, process and digest. The term eat can be used metaphorically to describe learning. Trees represent life. They get Light, they grow, some bear fruit (they CREATE), and drop seeds for other trees to grow into other trees and CREATE new life. During the seasons, they lose old and gain new leaves, which denotes how TIME CHANGES attributes of life. The touchy subject here is knowledge of good and evil. I have to make another post just for that.
