The roads of Kerala have to be built using cement and sand in the ration 1:4 so that the roads will not get damaged in any weather condition, be it summer or be it rainy season. We have practical experience of the cemented roads in Thrissur District in the past. I am sure that the present day Contractors will oppose such a move because their services will not be needed for at least 30 years in such cemented roads.
