The rumour mill is turning again! I do like reading camera and lens rumours, especially on some of the rather overly enthusiastic websites originating from the other side of the pond! I do of course take these things with a bucketful of salt but it still makes interesting reading! Nikon users have been crying out for a replacement to the Nikon D300 for an age now and its certainly a camera Id seriously look at buying to use alongside my D800. Like a lot of Nikon users I was disappointed with what the Nikon D750 wasnt and I was poised to chuck in my D300 and D700 as a trade in. So, bucketful of salt aside (!), Id love to see a D300 replacement with some of the supposed specs being rumoured at the moment.... 24.2mp An upgrade but not a new Expeed 4 processor (D4 processor) 72 AF points of which ?39 cross type working at f/10 - I find this bit the most unlikely!! 8fps , 10 with grip. Anymore wishes for a d300 replacement or should nikon banish the Dx line from what is termed their Pro line up as many suggest?
