The sad reality for thousands of children in Gaza. Israel talks about wanting security. I wonder sometimes what universe they live in that they cannot see what they are doing to the security of others far more vulnerable. These innocent little ones live every day with trauma and fear, many of them have lost everything they have and seen their family members killed in front of them, some multiple times in their short lives. More than 108,000 Palestinians lost their homes during the latest Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip...with more than 60,000 housing units destroyed or damaged...Around 110,000 people are still displaced. And the majority of them are children. Their bedrooms were their safe place, their small universe, but that was destroyed this summer. According to the UN, it will take 20 years to rebuild the parts of Gaza that were damaged.
