The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die!” (Genesis 3:4) To put it another way Satan calls God a liar. When his near truth concerning God is challenged, although badly, he immediately tells Eve God has not been honest with her. At this point all subtly is gone. The war turned from a gently questioning discussion to a full frontal assault on the truth of God’s Word. When subtly does not work Satan will directly attack the validity of God’s Word. One of the enemy’s tactics is to directly challenge the Word of God! What will you do when the voice in your head call’s God a liar?
