The sight and sound of a Dustoff Huey still can bring easy tears for me. I was not a Dustoff crew member although I flew missions with them at times. But the sound of a Huey is something you never forget if youve been around them. And that sound meant a chance for life whether you were a soldier from any country or either side or a civilian, especially a young child. Its distinctive sound could at one time instantly transport me back to a depression I hope people never have to feel. But Ive learned now how to put a really bad time into perspective. And I will forever hold Dustoffs in a very special place in my heart. In memory of my Dustoff friends who gave their lives while trying to save others....
