The so called modest families in our country are quite strange. They acquired high education and high positions in the society. They speak of the country and its peoples’ well-being on television channels. They hold great importance in the state and its society. However, I don’t understand the basis on which they decide and suggest the good and bad, because there is vast difference between their words and actions; their explanations of life and people are immature and fragile. They are Muslims but there is not a single sign of it in their words and actions. Muslims are well aware that Islam is the religion of truth, Allah SWT’s provision and the only solution of the human race, yet this modest society does not accept Islam, don’t follow Allah SWT’s provision and avoid the Islamic solutions wherever possible. Will not they die someday? Don’t they fear the punishment of grave, judgement day and the hell-fire? On the other hand, in the name of right to speech and freedom, these people are promoting indecency, obscenity and open mixture of men and women, which are haram in Islam and are dangerous to our society and families. And these same people organise protestations against eve-teasing. They are the ones who scream out calling wanton when someone commits suicide for failing in love or for suffering from torture in love. They frown and demand fair justice when someone acquires century in rape. Whereas, the provisions in Islam which can remove or minimise the risks of these incidents are referred to as old-fashioned and are rejected on the grounds of women rights and right to freedom. That’s not the end. If they are told to punish an eve-teaser, a wanton person or a rapist in the strict Islamic way, they are the ones who come down on the street to protest against it by claiming it inhuman, cruel and barbarian. This way they show the thief ways to steal and when the thief is caught, they manage his release. I am truly confused if it’s their hypocrisy or dull thoughts. But whatever it is, it can be undoubtedly said that they are causing damage to the society. Those who are blindly following them are too spoiling their lives in this world and in the hereafter. The so called modest people are clearly opposing Allah SWT, His messenger and Islam by rejecting the Islamic laws and regulations.
