The song simply says ...He helps me to do what honors Him the most. Thats why Im safe in His arms... I awaken this morning feeling renewed even with knowing the magnitude of that which awaits me on this day. It amazes me, yet not surprise me, how whenever we do right and do for others, and especially when we are doing right for others, the enemy shows up with his/her proverbial wrench. It never fails and it never works, but still s/he comes...and even throws it, lol! One who lends to my hearts joy reminds me often that life can be like a circus so I should expect the clowns to show up during a time of transition and right before the big show; he reminds me that it is not against flesh that I wrestle, but principalities--spirits of discontentment and disconnection that often believe they are themselves covered in their actions by the very God I openly serve. In fact, they may venture so far as to tell me that He sent them, but the Word tells us to ....beware of the Pharisees, for they be false prophets, wolves in sheeps clothing! There is truly nothing new under the sun! We know He is not the author of confusion, distraction, destruction nor disruption. He is a God of PEACE & ORDER. Perfect peace. Calming order. He sends us what we need. He hides us and keeps us safe. For every clown that shows up He will send two soldiers that hold us up! And the big show hits the stage right on time, giving Him the glory and His obedient the reward! Dont waste time in an effort to plant seeds anchored in fear, pointless jealousy, misdirected anger and old pain that should have been disassembled and retired long ago into soil intended to yield evidence of His glory. When God is a providing cover, seeds that dont bring light nor life will not grow; nothing negative will grow in favored soil. As promised, no weapon ever formed against us has ever prospered, not ever. How could it when our Boss, who has no boss, has us on an assignment He means for us to complete? He hides us. He gives us rest and peace so that we can do what honors Him the most. Im safe. Amazingly, not surprisingly, safe. And so are you! Keep pushing. Keep moving. Keep giving. Keep living and laughing and loving--it confuses the hell out of the devil! Youre safe.
