The street life is over glorified And under understood. As are - TopicsExpress

The street life is over glorified And under understood. As are most popular things, thats just an example. There is a wealth of wisdom and insight in growing up on the streets just like there is in any other walk of life. It is in our appreciation of each others experiences that we can apply and benefit from those jewels from different walks of life. A life of survival on the streets has much in common with survival in business as well as survival as it relates even to fitness and health. At the end of the day the grind ethic, the committment to overcoming obstacles, to obtaining goals and triumphing over setbacks are important values no matter where we may be in our particular lives at the moment. I find inspiration in all areas and realms from the ants rebuilding there home that was kicked over by a two year old nemesis All the way to the Resilliance of a so called poor urban family raising their children up culturally aware, sharp and strong in an inner city, to a gangster working tirelessly to redirect the gang activity positively and diffuse UNECESSARY violence in his stomping grounds between gangs, to a revolutionary organizing against all odds to raise awareness and heighten the contradictions about the political prisoners that need our assistance, to a worker who stands up to improve conditions for fellow employees and demand respect and living wages worthy of the labor he or she provides, to an entrepreneur who took an idea for a service and grinds to get it out there and become a wide success and can employ and lead people to being apart of that success, to a person who has conquered their anger with daily mediation...all the way to the sun that continues to rise everyday despite how dark each night is. Inspiration is everywhere! It is found in our paying attention with appreciation. #let your life be your own inspiration
