The subject of PARCC testing will effect all Bloomfield Students this year, and our BOE member Dan Anderson has been active in advocating for alternatives to the enormous amount of testing which it will require. Michael Heller newly elected to our BOE also attended this Sample PARCC for parents that Montclair sponsored, but this first-person experience should be read by everyone in Citizens who has school-age children. And this doesnt even touch on the amount of data provided to private corporations about our children, or the intrusive demographic questions woven into the whole testing scheme. Please read, and join the FB groups attempting to organize to block NJs current plan to make this test required for graduation for all of this years juniors, and beyond.
