The sudden news of someone you loves death, its a moment that has no meaning. Its been three years ago this morning. Barely saying have a nice day was an innocent gesture, one we all regret. I miss you, I love you, I hate you. Things would be easier with you, your wife needs you beside her, daddys little girl still hides under the pillows when you get home, our dog is still confused why you dont come home anymore, Ben needs you to be proud of him, Devon needs to hear you love him, Desiree needs a father to guide her. This family has become strong. But the reason we are is because we lost someone very important. It doesnt get easier, the numbing just wears off.
