The telling part for me was this: Male and female brains showed few differences in connectivity up to the age of 13, but became more differentiated in 14- to 17-year-olds. When my daughter started having problems in school and we talked to the administrators, they dismissed it was something that happened all the times. All girls, we were told, go through this. So if a normally good female student starts struggling/failing, its just normal. I dont think its nature. I think we become what we (or other people) train ourselves to be.
