The tent has four openings East North South and West It welcomes all comers To give them rest It may be temporary But as you gaze into the stars You are urged to tarry And ask why Must you leave this comfort for that desert That is merciless as the vicious tongue of man And maybe less considerate But all good things must come to an end So if you came from the South Go North If you came from the East Go West No matter which direction You should remember The world is round And you’ll walk into the tent again Have faith.
