The thing is, it isnt just Islam that says people who are non-muslim will go to hell, that method of control is used in many other worldwide religions. There is nothing wrong with preaching in my opinion, I have nothing against people who try to spread the message of what they believe is the truth, people have as much right to defend their religion as I do to defend my taste in clothes, or my taste in music. I believe we should live in a free country, one that is not controlled by any religion, be it Islam, Christianity, whatever. I dont feel like we should have athiesm pushed onto us as the truth in which we must believe either, I think it is a human right to choose what you believe, what you dont believe and not to be brainwashed or threatened into believing anything. Things like this annoy me, not because of the fact it is an Islamic protest, but because it stands as a barrier between a life of free will and of choice and a life of force-fed, religious dogma. Christian, Jew, Muslim, Taoist, it doesnt matter. Anyone who decides that this is a correct way to express their views, to harass people going about their ordinary lives in an attempt to strike fear into them, is in the wrong.
