The trouble with a surgical procedure like the one Im scheduled to undergo tomorrow morning is that so many people are telling me Aww, cmon! Its nuthin! Just a...laminotomy decompression of a synovial cyst in my spinal canal...yeah, its a friggin hang-nail! Except, of course, for the part where, under general anesthetic and intubation, a guy will cut into my back, shave away some bone (which I thought I needed), cut back a tendon to remove a cyst-- hopefully, without severing my spine, releasing spinal fluid (ya kinda need that stuff, right?) or sleep apnea results in my stopping breathing (like I did during a root canal once) and they have to wake me up while my SPINE is, well, OPEN!!! Naw, Im not worried...although, you dont wanna be on the list of people Ill come back to haunt if something does happen. Just kidding. Pre-game jitters. Got nuthin but love for ya...
