The weather this weekend was amazing for our Family Camp at Long Island Lake. The Grove Grizzly families, new and old, bonded and had a blast while enjoying the great outdoors. At camp, the Wardens played games, went canoeing, fishing, practiced shooting, archery and fire lighting skills. Then later on, while all the exhausted Wardens slept, the parents had some laughs and late nights sitting around the campfire telling great stories, watching the stars and listening to the coyotes howl.... Thanks to Mike, the Wardens also were treated to a magic campfire that impressed all.... Thanks for all who were able to come out and help make the weekend a success.... I think everyone had a great time and left with a smile, except for most of the wardens who were sad when it was time to go. ;)
