The week in review 14/09 3.45am, A 24 year old Mosman man was refused entry to a Crow’s Nest hotel on a number of occasions due to his apparent high level of intoxication. Rather than call it a night and head home, this individual was allegedly seen by patrolling Police to climb the outside of the building before climbing in a rear window. A search of the interior of the hotel found the bloke, bleeding from a number of grazes sitting with friends near the bar. He was escorted out, fined and sent on his way. 16/09 3.03pm A Cremorne resident came home to find a pushbike just inside her front gate and a man standing at a front window having removed the flyscreen and was in the process of opening the window. When the man spotted the resident he apparently pulled the old talking on the mobile phone trick, walked back to his bike and left house. The man is described as Mediterranean in appearance, 56, slim build, early 20s wearing a dark cap, brown coloured hair, wind proof jacket with a different colour zip up, with dark denim pants. If you have seen this man please let us know 14/09 10:15am a Redfern man was allegedly seen behind the Milson Village, Milsons Point in an apparent state of undress by some local residents. Witnesses report that the man allegedly had his pants around his ankles and proceed to shuffle some laps of the village exposing his nether regions to the world. Police were called and found the man, now dressed near the village. The man would not supply any details and observations of the man led Police to believe he may have been under the effect of a mind altering substance. The man was arrested and charged with Wilful and obscene exposure. 14/09 3.05am Police were patrolling past one of our well known drug offenders residence when they apparently saw a red VW with its lights on reversing out of the drive way. Subsequent checks apparently revealed extensive intelligence reports relating to drug and robbery offences. The vehicle was stopped and the two occupants spoken to. As a result of that conversation Police had cause to search one of the men. During the search the man was found to be wearing a skin coloured tight long sleeve shirt, almost like a second skin. When taken off, Police allegedly saw two small bags containing a white crystal substance fall out of the sleeve. The substance was apparently “ICE” (not the cold type). The man was charged with posses a prohibited drug. 13/09 2.00am Police were conducting a walkthrough of a Crow’s Nest hotel when they were advised by security than a man standing out the front was refusing to leave. Police spoke with the man who was wearing a very nice suit and a Bart Simpson tie. The man apparently stated he was waiting for a taxi home. Police noticed that immediately the man’s left were 6 vacant Taxi’s waiting for fares. The man was directed to move at least 50m away which he initially did. A short time later Police allegedly saw the man standing back out the front. Again the man was asked to leave which he did. 20min later the man was again found out the front of the hotel. The man was issued with an infringement for failing to leave and given a warning in relation to the tie. It’s been a busy week with some of the events I’m not able to put up here, needless to say if you are having difficulties or you know someone who is having difficulties in coping then either speak up or tell someone. A problem shared………………. With the increase in threat level that you have no doubt heard about you will see an increase in foot patrols of Police in and around public spaces and critical infrastructure, feel free to come and say hello and have a chat. Hope your having a great week.
