The world is not ending and this is not a sign from the Gods and the moon will not turn blood red. Will coyotes yip and owls hoot? They might--just like they often do at night and near dawn. And if western sky clouds do not smother the moon, viewers in Oakland County may be in for a sky treat early Wednesday. The total eclipse will start around 6:25 a.m EST and continue to 7:22 a.m, but the eclipse activity starts around 5:15 am. The maximum eclipse time will be around 6:55 a.m. Dont wait till after 7:00 to take a look! After the sun begins to rise it makes the sky too light for good clarity. Look close to the horizon in the western sky ( you knew that!) and the eclipse just may be visible .
