The worst possible way to get a wake up call. Cyclists are not permitted to cycle at speed on the footpath and are required to use the roads, where we are so vulnerable. Car vs bike - car wins, we get it. There is no need to crowd us, toot or hurl abuse. Please consider that the cyclist beside you is someones parent, sibling, child and loved one. One metre clearance and we both get home safe. Please.
