Theory: “Kuma Did Not Lose His Personality” I’ve been thinking, and it really intrigues me, why did Kuma let himself to be a Pacifista? We know Pacifistas are real people turned into a Cyborg by the Mad Scientist Vega Punk. Though Pacifistas are really strong, it’s so much waste for the Navy to turn a powerful Shichibukai into a heartless Human Weapon. I mean, the real Kuma is definitely more powerful compare to a bunch of Cyborgs. And the Navy can easily find more people to turn into a Pacifista. So the big question is, Why Kuma let himself turned into such robots? And why the Navy wasted such a powerful Warlord? Well, the theory goes like this: Kuma is a spy from the revolutionary. I am sure the Navy nor the World Gov’t knew that Kuma is part of the Revolution. Afterall, to qualify as a Warlord, someone should be a pirate (not a revolutionist). If you remember the difference between a pirate and a revolutionist. Both are criminals in the eye of the Government, but the revolutionist directly oppose the World Government, while the pirates do not. This is the reason why they will only hire a pirate as a Warlord. Kuma probably pretended to be a pirate in order to be a Warlord. And this is part of the big plan of Monkey D. Dragon. Kuma will be their key connection (spy) to the World Government and the Marine. And now, Kuma found a great opportunity to hide more his true personality by turning himself into a Pacifista. By doing so, the Marine will even have a smaller chance to doubt him because they know he lost his mind when he turned into a cyborg. Kuma probably conviced the Marine to make him a Pacifista by making up a lie, like he has an incurable disease or something, in order to get the Marine’s approval (just as I said, it is a lost of power when the real Kuma become a mere cyborg). If you will also remember, when Franky found Kuma with the Sunny after the timeskip, Kuma said “I’ve been waiting for you, Mission Accomplished”. A Cyborg who do not have a mind cannot possibly speak like that. The fact thay he said “Ive been waiting for you”, It’s really like he didn’t lost his personality.
