There are 1300 children and young people in the West Moreton region who are unable to live with their parents through no fault of their own. To coincide with Queensland Child Protection Week, West Moreton Hospital and Health Service is appealing to the community to donate one book for each of these children. Putting new books into the hands of disadvantaged children is a very simple effective way to make a difference to their lives. Books suitable for babies and children up to age 12 can be donated until September 17 at the Ipswich Hospital Foundation, Shop 3, 1 Bell St, Ipswich.
