There are an awful, awful lot of Christians who are spending way, way more time yelling at their TVs and posting the most hyper-critical comments about the president and public servants of all types and parties than being down on their knees or faces praying to God for serious blessings to fall on these leaders, including many pastors who preach that we should pray w great compassion for these leaders...... ...no matter what we preach or say we believe, this really amounts to eating freely of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and calling it good and tasty fruit all over again.....despite the always painful curses and lessons it brought back in the day......we are slow slow learners...... Jesus Himself said that any kingdom divided against itself cant stand, and yet even people who say they love America act like theyre in a hurry to make sure it collapses just so they wont have to actually play nice with others in the meantime while theyre waiting for the rapture......they act like if only the other 50% will just go away, life can be great and well have progress finally, but for some reason, this two party system and all the hate-mongering/fear-mongering only seems to produce more dissatisfaction and never does get rid of the others......hmmmmm..... If the Christians alone would take this to heart, we could pull out of this obvious tailspin.....after all, dont we remember that no matter what else is happening, were not really as subject to this government as this government is to our God? ...and that they cant really keep us from having the blessed life, because the world didnt give it and the world cant take it away?
