There are children of color dying every day in cities across this nation as a result of gang violence. The only coincidences in this matter are that these children are black or brown, they have access to large volumes of guns, and the governments have not come up with any solutions in order to prevent such an epidemic from continuing. Perhaps some insight into preventing this epidemic from continuing can me gleamed from the research and a soon to be released book that was written by Dr. David Skarbek, on prison gangs and their governance, in which I was pleased to have been utilized as a consultant. Investing in the future starts with ensuring that our children are able to blossom!
