There are those in our world who only speak the language of hate. Narrow-minded, feeble-minded individuals who pray to a bloody, vengeful deity created by their own twisted notion of religion. I believe muslims should not defend Islam by declaring that these individuals do not follow the teachings of Islam; we have done that time and again. Islam is as distant from the actions of these individuals as it is distant from the horrendous acts of Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram and many others. Just as Christianity is distant of those who who have committed terrible acts in its name, same as Judaism and Hinduism and all religions and philosophies who teach love of the fellow man, no matter what religion he follows. I believe all moronic, bigoted, blood-thirsty individuals subscribe to a calling that, in their minds, supersedes real Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and any other religion. I dare say that if Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) were alive today, he would have been devastated by the horrific crime these men had committed. Here is a debate that was held in Oxford Union, 24 hours after an attack in 2013 by Islamist terrorists in England that spurred hate and aggression against muslims worldwide, going as far as mosques being attacked. An almost identical situation as to the one currently in France... The premise is almost always the same: extremist attack in the name of islam, backlash against muslims, extremists use that backlash to rally the feeble-minded, another attack and so on.....
