There are times when you see the beautiful side of humanity. Somebody risking their own lives for a total stranger. Giving into their selfless thoughts and doing something for the common good. And then there is this. Innocent people getting murdered or raped. Losing their life simply because they were in the midst of a bloody conflict. They say genius and madness are two sides of the same coin. I think humanity is that coin. With all the great things we do, there are always times like this that see us reduced to a puny species. Insignificant, petty, and weak. This sounds cheesy quoting a movie,namely the Gladiator, but just remember, "What we do in life echoes in eternity".
