There are two things to bear in mind where the Middle East is concerned.. The CIA project GLADIO where they created secret armies during the cold war all over Europe and the Middle East, originally to act as ready made resistance movements against the Soviets. Unfortuneately these groups were often made up of far right extremists and other nationalist types. By the 1970s they were being used throughout Europe to commit acts of terrorism that would then be blamed on leftist groups, and other acts of violence and terror. (This is all documented in a proper academic study called NATOS Secret Armies). They went quiet when the Soviet Union collapsed but it is likely they were never disbanded (hence C18?), but seem to have popped up again in the guises of Golden Dawn et-al.. The other one is that Bush and his cronies are hardcore Evangelists and really believe in The Rapture. For that to happen the Jews and Muslims have to be converted and the Middle East has to enter an eternal war. Those two strands is most likely where ISIS comes from and Obama is just fighting the fire.
