There has been much discussion about how to give attention and alliance to the autism community. Some are asking you to light up blue for Autism speaks. Unfortunately, this is offensive to many because it empowers the notion of an autism cure instead of autism awareness. Another group wants you to light up gold to increase awareness and acceptance of those who are wired with the autism spectrum neuropathy. I am asking for a third alternative. There is a quickly growing, empowered group, based out of Sonoma county, CA called Autism Dominates. It is our premise that those with ASD have clearer insight and make more logical choices. We suggest that those with ASD should be placed in positions of authority and power. Our intent is toward eventual global domination. Please light it up red this month for Autism Dominates!
