There has been some incredible news today for all those who want a mass socialist challenge at the next General Election. The Socialist Alliance has been the beneficiary of a large bequest and has decided to support candidates of a broad socialist coalition in the General Election in 2015. It has therefore decided to donate £500 to100 TUSC candidates in the 2015 General Election. £500 is the cost of the deposit for a parliamentary seat. In addition, the Socialist Alliance has decided to donate £5,000 to TUSC to pay for the production of a professionally produced parliamentary broadcast for the TV. This means that the TUSC campaign is truly up and running. We now need to get the candidates and the local campaigns begun. There will definitely now be a serious socialist challenge to the pro-austerity politics of the establishment parties at the General Election next year. Get involved.
