There is a Singh in India, named Bhai Gurbaskh Singh whose hunger strike has reached 25-30 days presently. He is protesting against the illegal and extra-judicial imprisonment of 6 individuals who are implied as being a part of the 1995 Assassination of the Punjab C.M. A proportionate number of Sikh radicals, politicians, puritanical adherents and modern entities are congressing around him to increase his valour, and disseminate his ideals worldwide. One such individual is Baba Ram Singh of Damdami Taksal Batala, the e-head Granthi of Darbar Sahib, and the last individual to see Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale alive, he made a subtle yet decisive statement. Despite our differences we should all unite under one flag. The irony however is lost on young radicals who deem everyone who comes to them, to be pure Sikhs whereas those who they alienate or who do not approach them are sub-continental agents. A proportionate point in note is the Nihungs. The latter have not been approached, and plausibly will not approach a movement which the SGPC is hell bent on hijacking for the limelight. Subsequently, questions will be asked on what the Nihungs have done for the panth? Why the British created the Nihungs? And how to ban Jahtka and Sukha. The significant irony is that most of these questions are ill-conceived, and despite warring against the Akalis in order to gain the release of Akali-Nihung Surjit Singh and expel corrupt reptilian SGPC; the Nihungs will once again become the scapegoat for panthic failings.
