There is a company out there that are contacting people by phone and telling them that they have had notification from Microsoft that your computer have had virus alerts coming up on it. They will ask to remotely access your computer to sort it. Whatever you do NO NOT ALLOW IT. They will ask to speak to you by name, so it makes you think that they are legit. Total scam. When I told them that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my computer and how did they access my name. They put the phone down on me. Microsoft pride themselves on their privacy policy. I will put the number on my posting so that you can look out for it. I have blocked that number on my landline.
