There is a difference between a singer sounding the song and singing the song. to sound is to use the mechanics of singing, to hit pitch, match rhythm, but to sing you add feeling to it, depth of the words and their meaning. What is it that makes the singer focus on those attributes that hits the human soul once heard? Can we, as human beings, literally wisp our emotion in vocal resonance that reverberates upon other humans once heard? or is there some manner that our vocal chords create new micro pitches within the notes we sing that cause a physical response, as in our adrenal glands to secrete and/or tears to swell due to a certain micro pitch being heard?
