There is a likable and interesting Jewish woman I know. We often have short discussions about Judaism and Christianity. She is very proud of being Jewish. She is interested in what I say but her Jewishness is hindering her. So I decided to ask her and I did today as the opportunity came up,: "Did she think that the Jewish people are a stubborn people?" She said, "Ah Yes we are a very stubborn people." I said, "That is just what God says of you. that you are a stubborn and rebellious people. that is why you have suffered so much." She went red faced for a moment and thought about it. Then she said, "Ah you Christians, we are not meek." I said the obvious, "The meek will inherit the world." I continued, "Who do you think rule the world, the Jews or the Christians." She did not answer. I said, "The Christians rule the world. Even though today they be grossly incompetent in doing so, nevertheless the Christians rule the world." She smiled and agreed.
