There is a story behind these pictures. Jesse lost his battle to cancer a few weeks ago. Andrea (Jesses wife) had ask that all her friends tell a story about Jesse for their daughter to have when she is older. So I would like to share my story. Jesse and Andrea came for Ariyas 6 month session back when I used my living room and moved all our furniture into the other room. I had my daughter Emma that day with no sitter and I thought she would be just fine watching from her high chair. Well, Emma had a fit and just caused a scene. I was getting flustered and apologized a million times. Jesse continued to tell me she is just fine and that she doesnt like being in that high chair. After I finished with family pictures Jesse asked if he could hold Emma. I was like WHAT!! 1st of all a guy who is happy at family pictures is not as frequent as one would think. 2nd. A guy who is not mad that my daughter is throwing a fit during family pictures... is this guy for real? 3rd. He offered to hold Emma!! Long story short he was and is truly one of a kind. My heart breaks for Andrea and Ariya. I know he is no longer in pain and in a much better place. Today for family pictures Andrea brought along Jesses guitar. It started to sprinkle only during the guitar pictures. I think maybe he was just giving a little sign that he was there in spirit, at least thats what I would like to think.
