There is no other way to say it except to just say it flat out....MY ASS IS TIRED! Traveled down to Kerrville TX Friday didnt leave until about 2 and the last 100+ miles of the trip was in the dark in a motorcycle formation and the speed of travel was QUICK! All day on my butt but in some great seminars Saturday, today the ride home again in a group in formation and the speed of travel was EXTREMELY QUICK! At least today it was a beautiful day unlike Friday when we got caught in a heavy thunderstorm and my Frog Tog rain suit did me no good at all, thats because it was in my saddlebag and not on my body. It was an awesome trip, not a sight seeing trip however. Heres some thingfunny I observed today, I was among a few hundred bikers all weekend and I mean bikers which is a lot different than someone who rides a motorcycle once or twice a month. We made a pit stop in the neat little town of Hico and theres where I made this observation. There were a lot of motorcycles there but I think the dealers must tell people when they buy a brand new bike and accessories they must ride to Hico, the convenience store looked like a motorcycle apparel fashion show. Guys and gals strutting around in their $500+ riding suits or their brand new shiny helmet that matched their jacket, pants, socks, shirt, underwear. I think if youre going to go buy all that fancy riding stuff you should at least go throw it around in the dirt a little bit so you can make an attempt to look like a biker.
