There is so much abuse and suffering in this world already, I will NEVER understand why people still continue to turn a blind eye to the horrors that befall the most innocent among us. A lifetime of torture for what? To satisfy your taste buds for a few minutes? What ever happened to love and compassion? Species aside, we are all the same. A soul is a soul. We have no right to decide the fate of another. It is not our place to decide who lives and who dies. We take what was never ours and destroy lives and families in the process. We subject them to such agony and choose a course of pure apathy in the midst of their suffering. Your worst nightmare is their reality. Only a few lucky souls will ever taste freedom. Hopefully, one day, they all will.
