There is so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Im thankful for the kindness and generosity of Jills parents and my extended family in Vancouver, WA. We are very lucky and thankful too that Everett has this in his life as he grows up. I miss family and friends in the East Coast and in the Philippines. Lets not forget that even as we celebrate with at times excess food and wine that there are still those that are suffering in the Philippines, especially in Tacloban from that unprecedented typhoon. Lets do what we can to help. I have gathered up bags of medical supplies and medicines and will be shipping it through Operation Tacloban. Donations and goods can be sent to convergenw.org or mailed to SW Hills Baptist Church, 9100 SW 135th Ave. Beaverton, OR 97008 or to MEDICAL TEAMS INTERNATIONAL here in Oregon. I lived the first 8 years of my life there near that region of the Philippines and my heart goes out to them. Thank you and have a fulfilling Thanksgiving.
