There is something Keshi is not telling us.IK played under Vogts, - TopicsExpress

There is something Keshi is not telling us.IK played under Vogts, Amodu, Eguavoen and Siasia. None of them ever complained that the guy had attitude problem. In fact, in the last match of Siasia as SE coach in Abuja, Uche came from the bench and scored. The lad never complained about being benched. Now Keshi comes in and tells us that the boy is arrogant, he is proud, his attitude affects the team badly, etc, etc. Uche, out of respect, has not said any word against Keshi but is letting his feet speak for him. Already, some people are telling us how proud and arrogant IK is. Ask them their evidence and the will say that Keshi said so. But they will not tell you that Vogts and the other three coaches Uche played under in the SE never found him wanting in terms of attitude. The goals are drying, hence the noise about Uche who is currently doing better than any of our striker in Europe. The Confederation Cup was the last major tournament and we know the result. If the team was doing pretty well, nobody will raise any issue about Uche. Our team was doing well with Yekini, Amokachi and Siasia in 1994,hence nobody called for Westerhofs head when he ignored Ricky Owubokiri who was scorring freely in Portugal then. On Mata, Chelsea has a surfeit of very good midfielders. We dont have such luxury in our striking department. And as I said, my major issue is Keshis campaigns of calumny against a lad who is proving being more matured in handling whatever issue they have. But at every opportunity, Keshi would spin any yarn to discredit IK-assasinating tge fuys character. Even Mourinho did not assasinate Matas character. Keshi should stop being a boy. He should stick on saying his reasons for leaving the guy out is tactical. As for attitude, I followed IKs career from Aba. He is one jolly good fellow who has never had attitude issues. One day, the truth will come out. Missing the world cup, for IK, is not the end of the world. We will always wish the SW well. We are all stakeholders. Keshi doesnt have more stake there than any Nigerian. He is only favoured to be almost synonymous with the Eagles since 1984. We will continue to offer constructive criticisms, louding any coach who has got results and telling him that there is also room for improvement. We will be failing in our duties when we fail to point out something wrong to a coach who is telling us how good a striker like Ameobi (who has scored 5 premiership goals with less than 7 assist in 5 seasons and has severally rejected Nigeria) is.
