There is still so much that we dont understand how the animal world thinks. When I watch my little Mia in quiet moment where she just sits and looks around the room I wonder what she might be thinking. I have a habit of talking to my furry baby on a regular basis. Oh I know she doesnt know what Im saying unless I simplify it by bringing it down to one or two words that I know she recognizes, such as bye bye (A trip in the car ) or puppy store (a trip to the pet shop). Then there are those times that she will come to me and make this slightly high pitched noise to get my attention that she wants something. I can tell she has something specific on her mind and when I cant figure it out she does this noise that sounds very simular to a cat purring. Many times I will bend and pick her up and give her a soft kiss on the head and tell her that Im sorry I cant figure it out and its as though she knows that I am frustrated as well and she will flatten her ears back and give my chin a tiny lick as if to say, thats ok mommy I still know you love me. :)
