There must be some kickstarter type philanthropists out there somewhere. New funding is needed: We are seeking up to $300,000 for 3 book projects as well as getting our firm back on the ground. Medical problems are keeping us out of the field and doing our environmental work - needless to say it is very frustrating. We can provide detailed descriptions of the writing projects - which will need up to 2 years to complete. Kickstarter- type contracts are available - possible profits but no guarantees 1. Seven Weeks in Tibet - an analysis of our field conservation projects in 35 countries over 22 years. 2. Muirs Mirror - essays written at locations that are significant in the works of 19th literary naturalists. and/or 3. Karakoram Constellation: an analysis of protected areas and peace park opportunities in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and China. We have lots of time on our hands as we wait for surgery recovery - but we do need funding. we would be very grateful for any help possibl. The funding is increasingly essential.
