There was this ole boy who was telling about a fishing trip he had on the might Pearl. He said something kept striking his line so hard that it broke all his rods. He didnt have nothing left to fish with but he had seen that big boy roll up and it looked about the size of a sow pig. He was gonna fry chicken that night so he had a whole chicken in a cooler so he hooked the chicken on his jeeps winch and tossed it out there... Lo and behold the monster catfish struck and he had him... He thought, burned his winch motor up trying to reel him in... Then the monster started pulling his jeep towards the river ... He grabbed an axe and managed to cut the cable in two just in time. Well his brother says Well, I was fishing in a pond the other night and I look down and there was a ghostly glow beneath the water, I fished it out and it was a dad blame karosine lantern STILL LIT! Weeeeell, the first brother says, No you know thats a lie, aint no karosine lantern gonna burn under water! The second brother says, I tell you whut, you take at winch off at fish and Ill blow this lantern out!
