There will be 2 congregational meetings—Oct 20 and Oct 27, 2013 at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Worship on both Sundays will be at 10am; a luncheon will be served followed by the Congregational meeting to begin at noon. The objective of the first meeting is to receive the various reports and recommendations from the Planning Committee, which will include a presentation by Bob Peterman, our structural engineer. Discussion, question & answer period will follow. Printed summary reports will be available to take home for further reading. The objective of the second meeting on October 27th is to make the decisions in regards to the future of Main Street United Church building. Therefore voting will be as required. Please remember you must be present to vote. Skype is an option for those unable to attend but with computer access. Proxy and advance ballot are not permitted. In accordance with the United Church of Canada Manual there will be certain items where ONLY Main Street United church members in good standing will be permitted to vote. Please plan on attending.
