There will be a PTO (parent/teacher organization) Meeting Monday, June 3rd at 7:00pm in the HS commons. This will be an organizational meeting to elect officers and to discuss other items that come up. I am NOT the president or in charge of this organization as someone is going around stating. I have, however, gotten this moving after speaking with the superintendent with his full backing. If you would like more information on this organization there is a great website called PTO.org. It is a very fun and positive organization that will be a wonderful thing for this community and the children. I am just getting the word out so more parent/grandparent/guardians will be involved. It will not only be a great opportunity to do fun and positive things for the kids but it will also open lines of communication between parents, teachers and administration on tough issues. I know things have been tried and failed in the past but I honestly believe this is going to work!
