Therefore I say to you and testify in the Lord that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind having their understanding darkened being alienated from the life of God (which is to say a life lived in the knowledge of unseen things revealed by the Holy Spirit) because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart, who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ. If indeed you have heard him and been taught by Him that you put off concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to deceitful lusts, and BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND AND THAT YOU PUT ON THE NEW MAN WHICH WAS CFREATED ACCORDING TO GOD IN TRUE RIGTHEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS. COMMENTARY: It is important to know, Dear Reader, Gentiles are not a race of people. A Gentile is a person who reasons in the knowledge of the world not having evidence and substance of the Kingdom of Heaven or what we refer to as faith for faith is not magic fairy dust which descends from the sky, it is evidence and substance of what you hope for but cannot yet see for faith is a gift of God for diligence in seeking God as you seek for silver and God which means with the same enthusiasm and devotion. Now all of us have struggled to find security and significance in the world where it does not exist by virtue of the fact that we get sick and die. But those of you who have come to brokenness of heart and contriteness of mind, YOU ARE CALLED WHICH IS TO SAY GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO TURN FROM THE WORLD CHEAPLY FOR IF YOU WERE RICH, YOU WOULD NOT SEEK GOD IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH AS GOD REQUIRES OF A MAN FOR IT WILL BE HARDER FOR A RICH MAN TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN THAN IT IS FOR THE CAMEL TO PASS THROUGH THE EYE OF A NEEDLE. AND NO MAN WILL DO THIS OF HIS OWN ACCORD BUT WHEN WE CALL ON THE NAME OF GOD WHICH IS TO SAY HIS REPUTATION HE SENDS THE SWORD IN THE HAND OF HIS SERVANT PROPHET AND SON TO TEAR YOU AWAY FORM THE IDOL YOU HAVE MADE OF YOURSELF IN THE KNWOLEDGE OF THE WORLD WHICH MAY PROFIT YOU THE WORLD BUT COST YOU YOUR SOUL. To be taught by Jesus in this day and age is to be taught by one in your present day who has the mind of Christ which is to say a mind which reasons in knowledge renewed by the coming of the Holy Spirit which is the bringer of all truth and it is in receiving through perception of the unseen things of which all things seen are made that one is comforted. The good news of the gospel is that the kingdom of heaven has come near to you in your poverty, affliction and brokenness of heart and the humility to listen that a word might be spoken you in season which provides for you evidence and substance of the power, glory and love of God. THIS IS GRACE BY WHICH YOU ARE SAVED FROM THE IGNORANCE OF THE WORLD THROUGH FAITH EVIDENCE AND SUBSTANC EOF WHAT YOU HOPE FOR BUT CANNOT SEE UNLESS IT IS REVEALED AND TO FIND IT YOU MUST SEARCH FOR IT AS DILIGENTLY AS YOU SEEK THE WHAT YOU HAVE COME TO BELIEVE IS THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR.
