Theres a lot of misinformation out there about Common Core education standards, mostly for misguided (or very deliberately guided) political reasons. Heres the common core site, with good explanations of what it is. It doesnt address some of what it isnt, mostly because some of the accusations are so utterly ridiculous they couldnt have been predicted. There are no history standards in CC, so stories about the Holocaust and teaching-Islam-but-not-Christianity are total fabrications, as are the articles about testing and a whole bunch of other things. Real information is, as usual, scarce. Read it, understand it. Question everything, but not to the point of idiocy. Thanks, and have a great day.
