Theres a saying that hurt people hurt people. In other words, when someone insults or offends you, it is usually because someone else planted that seed in their life and they dont know what else to do except produce the fruit of death that comes forth from it. Perhaps Abba allows certain people to hurt us so that we can reverse the curse by taking the bullet and responding with a seed of life and love instead. Its easy to react by adding to the chaos and continuing to sow those same seeds of death in others; however, Abba has called us to be the repairer of the breach and the restorer of paths to dwell in (Isaiah 58:12); moreover, Torah instructs us to forgive people and not to hold a grudge against those who have wronged us (Leviticus 19:17-18); lastly, God has given us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). We must remember that Yeshua loved us while we were still sinners and by His grace we are a new creation; therefore, let us love and forgive those who have sinned against us. Love, after all, is the only thing that can truly repair this broken world.
