Theres been ppl sending me messages about a legend from the Tejano Genre, that in a recent interview said how he feels about the new generation and what needs to happen in Tejano... I read it, he made some good points and there are some things I disagree with but at the end of the day, Honestly the ppl/fans decide what they like and what is Relevant to them in Their Lives. You cant make kids listen to and love Tejano music... But You can expose them to it and if its good, itll speak to them and theyll love it. Everything changes in time. We need to stop putting ourselves and our music in a box! ARTISTS- You want this genre to grow? Start by having a band, Start putting on better shows, start investing in your music/your career, start signing autographs and taking pictures, start making videos, start giving the fans your all, stop canceling shows and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and DO YOU!
