Here is what is happening to your public schools. From Venessa B Whitener--Its obvious, that majority of those who take advantage of this is those already going to private schools. Private schools do not bus children and they can still turn away any child. If private schools are funded with public tax $ are they under the auditor generals scrutiny? This is not about choice, Az already has the most school choice in the Nation, open enrollment, Charters and private tax credits already to private schools, did you know there are Private school lobbying groups...this is free market I guess....trying to make money off of Govt! For-profit privates+ public funds= class separation and money scams. I am a conservative and this smells nothing of financial accountability!
